The reason for this elementary book is to bring to the attention of everyone, the truth that 85% of them (you) do not have to suffer back, shoulder, neck, and knee pain and more. You have the power now and the knowledge to heal yourself. Provided an x-ray or scan does not reveal: a spinal tumour (on bone or brainstem); tuberculosis of vertebrae/disk; osteoarthritis causing outgrowths (spurs) on vertebrae (exostosis); osteoporosis causing a dysfunctional (crumbling) vertebra also because of spinal compression: spondylolisthesis (the slipping forward of a vertebrae over the one below it); kidney infection; intrapelvic mass (polyps, tumours) occluding vessels; and other not so common conditions, then you need not endure back-pain etc., it is likely that |

no more than 13% of mankind suffers from any one of the conditions above. There are a number of groups of physicians both orthodox and alternative in their medical approaches, who know that: the stability of the pelvis underlies the health of the spine. Many osteopaths and Chiropractors as individuals know this. Many Russian, American and Japanese Physicians especially know this as well. Some of these professionals have systemised their own way of dealing with the spine successfully via the pelvis. However until the publication of this self-help manual there was no unifying body of knowledge and skill all these disparate groups and individuals could employ. |

The following describes the real situation with regard to pelvic distortion being responsible for 9 out of every 10 cases of musculo-skeletal pain, i.e. Lower, middle, upper back: pain on either side of spine usually at waist level; sciatic pain side and back and side of thigh; including other curious aches and pains in other bodily places. |

Other than the unfortunate experience of injury to a part of the musculo-skeletal system and/or simple muscle sprain, almost without exception the distortion of the pelvis is responsible for your musculo-skeletal aches and pains; being the foundation of the skeletal frame it is essential that the pelvis remains neatly horizontal to its true position. This enables the segments (vertebrae) of the spine to sit square-on above it. Thus, a healthy flexible spine is enjoyed. Trouble is experienced when the wings (ilia) of the pelvis move "out of kilter" because of instability of their sacral component. This dysfunction is actually, as the late Frankie Howard would say: "as common a muck" |
|
However, the problem is a serious one as well as being universal amongst the populations of the world. The consequences of a misaligned pelvis, the spinal column now sitting above and on a distorted base (the pelvis), are to create misery, discomfort and pain; as well as interference with an active life to the point of limiting the enjoyment of it, often quite suddenly and unexpectedly. In addition, because the spinal segments must also bend and turn to accommodate the dysfunctional base (the pelvis/sacrum), various spinal nerves definitely will be constricted/snagged and therefore their electrical & biological impulses severely reduced as they exit/enter from particular areas of that spine. Also, those structures which these restricted nerves supply will in turn produce pain and limited movement; namely with: |
